Every year, R. Lapid´s celebrates its anniversary with different theme/campaign as part of its Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR). This year´s Anniversary Theme : “Magtulungan, Magkaisa” which aims to unite for a common goal to encourage and show that everyone has its own role for the betterment of the future. Different activities and project is set to commemorate this special day.
The management decided to bind all employees of the company for a cause to help the victims of “Typhoon Yolanda” on November 16. Employees gathered altogether at R. Lapids Plant in Valenzuela City and at The Philippine Red Cross Manila Chapter for a relief operation as part of company´s social commitment to help people in need. The company also shares chicharon products to the Philippine Red Cross Volunteers.
As part of anniversary marketing activity is the “Pick A Prize” promo which runs from November 15-18. This is a simple offer as an appreciation to all avid customers of R. Lapid´s for their continued patronage through the years. Part of the proceeds of this promo will go the victims of “Typhoon Yolanda”.
Coinciding with the anniversary day on November 18 is the uploading of the long awaited newly renovated website of the company (www.rlapids.com.ph). There is also the Awarding of Cash Prizes, Sack of Rice and Certificates for the chosen Service Crew of the Quarter and Best in cGMP and 5S (Individual and Team) for 3rd Quarter of 2013.
